Connecting the dots: Mathematics communication in the 21st century

This week’s blog is super brief. I never imagined my sabbatical would be busier than my usual professorial life.

I’m excited to give a guest lecture in Dr. John Shiga’s communications course at Ryerson University this Thursday, so I’m posting the slides here. In the lecture, I give examples (Eugenia Cheng, Laurie Anderson) of storytelling in STEM and how this can have an amplifying effect. I also talk about my own journey communicating mathematics through this blog, my fiction, and social media. Please follow this blog and follow me on Twitter: @Anthony_Bonato

Enjoy!
